(inner) fall - Woods surrounding Zurich

“Autumn feels like a phase of transition - a time when my body and mind start slowing down, preparing for the stillness of winter. It’s a moment of letting go, but not without its challenges.

In this phase, I often experience back pain, sugar cravings, and find myself easily frustrated. It’s as if my body were signalling that it needs to shed the unnecessary, just like a tree losing its leaves.

There’s a certain heaviness to autumn, both physically and emotionally.

My patience runs thin, and it’s a reminder that this phase is not about pushing forward but about slowing down, allowing myself the space to release what no longer serves me and make room for rest.

Fall is messy and imperfect, but it’s also necessary - a season of preparation and quiet transformation.”
