meet the team
We are a group of individuals brought together by a shared purpose: to give women something many of us went without for too long — a deeper connection to ourselves, our cycles, and our well-being.
Our paths are different. We come from diverse countries, backgrounds, and professions. We live in different realities across Switzerland (and some abroad) and speak various languages (English, German, French, Italian, Portuguese, Polish…). And yet, what unites us is the belief that women's well-being and the journey of self-discovery are not luxuries — they are essential.
unboxing cycles is a collaborative space. We each bring our unique passions, skills, and experiences into the project — where, how, and when we can. There’s no rigid structure. Instead, there’s trust, purpose, and a shared vision. It’s not just about building something for others — it’s a self-discovery process for us, too. As we co-create unboxing, we also align with our own personal paths and missions.
Our international and interdisciplinary makeup is one of our strengths. It gives us a vast web of perspectives, knowledge, networks, and opportunities. We believe in the power of collective intelligence. As the saying goes:
“Alone we go fast, but together we go far.”
And that’s what we’re here for.
To go far — together.
To offer more.
To have a greater impact.
For you and us. For the whole.
Above is a picture of our core team, the engine that makes it all happen in the background, but more incredible individuals are working behind the scenes with us as well.
Let us introduce ourselves personally:
-
Initiator and facilitator
Storyteller, photographer, creative thinker (a mind that never stops designing ideas) and awareness advocate who weaves together creativity, curiosity, and purpose to spark personal and collective transformation.
In her free time, she’s usually doing some kind of sport, seeking silence in nature, exploring new places, meeting individuals and exchanging with creative minds, eating, and/or coming up with new ideas and working on projects that matter to her.
this year’s motto: stay curious, have fun.
favourite inner season: spring
favourite outer season: summer & autumn -
Word Magician and Experience Creator
Since she could remember Lucyna has had a turbulent relationship with words. Verbalising her thoughts, emotions and ideas was difficult until she put pen to paper. Now she combines her curiosity, natural storytelling, and drive to create spaces where everyone feels accepted.
In her free time, you can find her on skis or a mountain bike, sweaty and sometimes muddy and always with a smile. When the weather has other plans, she has her nose in a book or is dreaming up the next story she wants to tell.
this year’s motto: take the time to answer those hard questions.
favourite inner season: winter
favourite outer season: she’s asking nicely (for now) don’t make her decide. -
Artist (when the mood strikes) and facilitator
While busy on a daily basis in the library-languages-plurilingualism-migration world, she also spends much time exploring and understanding female health, menstruation, sexual wellbeing and co. Inevitably mixed with openness, creativity, exchange and a little bit of chaos!
In her free time, she will probably be reading a book, sketching something new, hanging upside down on a pole (with limited success but great commitment!), or enthusiastically learning a new language. But what would free time even be without chit-chatting with good friends and enjoying activities together?!
this year’s motto: You can always learn something new. No matter when, where or from whom.
favourite inner season: spring
favourite outer season: summer -
Menstrual cycle knowledge facilitator
Jewellery expert by day, cycle advocate by heart, Jemima channels her lifelong fascination with menstrual health into sharing knowledge that empowers menstruators to understand their bodies, honour their rhythms, and challenge the stigma around menstruation. She’s constantly reading, researching, and putting into practice how we relate to our cycles.
When she’s not reading a novel from her local library, you’ll find her lifting heavy things, running roads or trails, stretching it all out with mobility work, or simply knitting with her fibre arts group.
this year’s motto: I’m allowed to take up space, ask for more, and rest.
favourite inner season: deep winter
favourite outer season: crisp and early autumn mornings
