(inner) winter - Flumserberg, St. Gallen

The phase of my menstruation feels like a journey inward - a time when my intuition is heightened, and I can truly feel my feelings. On the first day, it often feels terrible, heavy and draining. But by the second day, there’s a shift: things feel clear, clean, like a full reset.

It’s a phase of rebirth, a quiet metamorphosis. I notice my body more, my muscles, my energy, the grounding connection I have with myself. There’s a powerful yet calm energy that fuels my creativity. I feel drawn to writing, singing, and putting more attention on myself, experimenting and enjoying the small details of life like a curious little kid.

In this phase, I reconnect with the essence of just being, paying closer attention to what I do and savouring the process. It’s a time for creation, for nurturing my inner world, and for embracing the intuitive flow that guides me.

Inner winter is a season of rest, reflection, and quiet power, a reminder that even in stillness, there is growth.”
