retreat unboxing your cycle - inner autumn edition: reflection, letting go, re-centering.

A gentle weekend in the Swiss Alps to honor the inner autumn of the menstrual cycle—the premenstrual phase known for its depth, sensitivity, and need for restoration.

This retreat is designed for menstruators who are curious about their cycle, including those just beginning to explore its phases. Whether you're actively bleeding or simply tuning into your body’s rhythms, this space invites you to slow down, let go of external demands, and return to yourself.

Set in the quiet beauty of Leysin, we’ll move through days filled with grounding practices: morning movement, creative expression, forest walks in silence, nourishing meals, and soft evening rituals. With a focus on rest, reflection, and recentring, the retreat offers a kind and supportive space to deepen your connection to the wisdom of your inner seasons—starting with autumn.

When?
Friday, September 19th – Sunday, September 21st (2 nights)

Where?
Vermont Hub, nestled in the picturesque alpine village of Leysin (Vaud), Switzerland.

Who?
An intimate group of a maximum of 12-15 participants interested in connecting with themselves, with nature, and with like-minded individuals — to exchange ideas, learn from one another, and gain new perspectives.

The weekend will be facilitated by the core team of unboxing cycles.

  • Your day in Leysin begins gently, with an optional morning movement session—perhaps some playful animal flow to wake up the body. Afterward, we gather for a nourishing breakfast, often shared in quiet reflection or with a short reading to set the tone.

The late morning invites creativity and connection through practices like intuitive drawing or group sharing, followed by a mindful hike into the nearby forest. We walk mostly in silence, taking in the stillness, and close the journey with cacao and a moment for reflection.

Afternoons are slow and spacious. You might rest, write, go to the sauna, or simply enjoy the view. Later, we reconvene for a heart-centered circle—an open space to share personal experiences, listen deeply, and be heard.

Evenings are warm and grounding. We share dinner together, then gather around the fire or enjoy quiet time. A short meditation is offered before bed for those who wish to close the day in stillness.

  • Set high above the Rhône Valley on a sun-drenched plateau, Leysin is a Swiss alpine village with a long-standing tradition of healing. In the early 1900s, Leysin became internationally recognized for its mountain sanatoriums, attracting visitors from across Europe seeking rest and recovery in the pure mountain air. Today, that legacy lives on—reimagined through thoughtful wellness experiences that honor the village’s history and natural surroundings.

Bathed in sunlight year-round and framed by sweeping views of the Dents du Midi and Mont Blanc, Leysin offers a setting where wellbeing comes naturally. The altitude, crisp air, and tranquil landscapes create an ideal environment for slowing down, restoring energy, and reconnecting with what matters most.

Whether you're here for movement, mindfulness, or simply to breathe more deeply, Leysin invites you into a rhythm shaped by nature, history, and the simple elegance of alpine life.
